long time.

taskbot: Remove; no longer used. Never was, really.

xauthhere: Improve shell style; this script might be better off dead,
though.

isttyutf8: New script to guess whether a terminal speaks UTF-8. Still eats
pending input when invoked, which is a bug.

kill-netscape: Remove. I haven't used Netscape for years.

cvs-takeover: Clone-and-hack of svn-takeover for CVS.

bugzilla-show: New script to read a bug in any of several Bugzilla
installations.

ctlseq: Tell getopts about -R option.

Add Vivek's ctlseq script verbatim.

locale-exists: New script to test whether a given locale exists on the
system.

mailsort: Note dependency on libtimedate-perl.

bin: Use 'head -n 1' rather than 'head -1' (_POSIX2_VERSION=200112).

testing-blockages: Script from Anthony Towns to print a brief analysis of
blockages in the Debian testing distribution.

pull-mail: Pull from klecker as well as gluck.

my-debmirror: Continue on errors so that the non-US mirror is updated even
if the main mirror fails.

mount-keys: Exit non-zero if cfsd fails to restart the second time as well.

svn-backup:
  Compress dumpfiles with bzip2.
  Exit silently if a dumpfile already exists for this revision.
  Use "new" 'svnadmin dump' revision syntax (subversion r3258, not exactly

ssh-agent-shell: Sigh. The sense of the $SSH_AGENT_PID check was exactly
wrong; I thought something was odd but never realized it was this simple.

directory layout.

get-news-ntlworld: Remove (unused).

pull-mail: ~/.no* checks should be done in my crontab rather than in
scripts.

skeleton-gallery: Script to create a skeleton gallery.xml for a directory of
photos.

xterm-title: Allow $TERM = screen as well.

xterm-title: Don't do anything unless $TERM = xterm.

httpclient: This really shouldn't be in revision control - it's neither free
nor portable.

plonk, reprieve: Remove (no longer used).

xterm-wrapper: Remove. xterm-title is more convenient and portable to other
terminal emulators.

xterm-title: Not all printf implementations (e.g. HP-UX) support \e.

xterm-title: Use printf rather than 'echo -en'. ESC ] 0 ; <title> BEL seems
to be a more canonical sequence.

pull-mail: fetchmail returns 1 if there was no mail to fetch. Boggle.
Actually, I want all mail fetching attempts to proceed even if some of them
fail, so removing the 'set -e' seems the most sensible fix.

bsmtp-pull: Move temporary directory to within $HOME/tmp.

debman: Clarify man -> man(1).

debman: With a version of debget that supports file: via curl, using it is
now feasible.

debman: Require '-f package.deb' to read a local .deb. Implement '-p
package' to download the named package and read from it. The idea for the
latter came from David B. Harris.

debman: New script to read man pages straight out of .debs.

desymlink: Use File::Copy rather than a call to system(). Add more error
checking.

svn-backup: 'svnadmin youngest' has become 'svnlook youngest'.
