It will be interesting to see what the police make of the three e-mails 
they supposedly have with regard to the damage some of Fred Goodwin's 
stuff suffered recently. Will they be able to catch the sender?

Meanwhile the perils of relying too much on DNA are illustrated neatly

spent 15 years looking for a "serial killer" but it now appears the DNA 
connection was due to contamination.
