Easily avoided by transmitting the images elsewhere, I would do so to 
servers beyond the area of the demonstration, and at the same time 
recording them on the camera.

Then the photographer can lick the police officers boots when 
challenged, "delete" the images and so on, but the photographs remain 
safe even without the use of an undelete utility.

Like many things the idea is not to outwit the plodders, that is easy, 
the ideas is to drawe attention to their stupidity.

BTW I don't buy the idea that the police are against this. They have 
never opposed anything which they can use to attack the public even 
more.
