That's easy! Banks know far better than everyone else what to do, and
how to do it. When they screw up in the hundreds of billions the idiot
taxpayer stumps up to save them, and many of them don't even lose their
jobs. Clearly these same taxpayers are their customers, so they must be
stupid in that role as well. Hence they can be treated as dirt and
have everything blamed on them.
