Sundry "recovery" programs will also allow access to 'deleted' files 
when the camera's memory is mounted as a Windows drive.

You need to be a little careful, because that raises the bar slightly 
into the prohibited area of "communicating" certain information 
(although it still needs to be useful to terrorists).
