Yes.
The fact that one of the Phorm criminals has set up
<http://www.stopphoulplay.com> is great news. It shows that they are
worried. As a great man once said:
First they ignore you,
Then they laugh at you,
Then they fight you,
Then you win.
It seems that Phorm are at the third step. Hopefully, with a bit more
pushing the whole thing will come crashing down.
However, given that the Home Office appear to have a great interest in
keeping Phorm going they may well provide a gentle or not so gentle
push to keep them going. That push may or may not be well hidden.
Comparable examples are bailing out nuclear power stations when they
went bankrupt and providing banking faclities for Huntingdon Life
Sciences when their share price collapsed and no bank would lend to
them. The most extroardinary example is bailing out the banksters when
they went bankrupt, even allowing them to keep their bonuses. Reaching
deep into my/our pocket(s) is no problem for governent when their
cronies are facing "the real world".
