In that case you didn't read the flyer they gave you when they cancelled
your "indefinite" visa ... or they had run out the day that they
cancelled yours :-(
Certainly the little leaflet they gave me when they cancelled mine made
it quite clear that it didn't count as a cancellation in the sense of the
green forms; and I was not to check that box.
Sadly, the A2 visa that they gave me when I was working for the House of
Lords was a one-time only credential (the Committee Clerk got one that
was valid for two years). However, the fact that I once had such a status
may still pop up on their screen, because the people at the desks are
very much nicer to me nowadays than I recall them being in the past :)
