there's a list of Home Office websites in a Parliamentary Answer from
about a year ago:

<URL:http://www.parliament.the-stationery-office.com/pa/cm200708/cmhansr
d/cm080428/text/80428w0017.htm#0804291000359>

most still work, except

www.pito.org.uk doesn't work, owned by Cable & Wireless

   www.stopandsearch.com acquired by a zealot ... (doesn't seem
to be linked from anywhere interesting)

   www.technicaladvisoryboard.org.uk as discussed

www.treatmenttheworks.com a link farm (so probably for sale)

mind you, I'm not sure how trustworthy the list was::
