I agree that changing the Ts & Cs to permit interception, as well as
obliging the subscriber to secure consent to interception form every
other user of the service, is itself a material change.  Others may
disagree.  But can anybody explain to me what has happened to
paragraph 6 of the existing Ts & Cs, which reads as follows:

"We guarantee that the BT Hub and any other equipment that we send you
in line with paragraph 6 will work to the relevant specification for
the minimum period and will be free from faulty design, manufacture or
materials. If at any time during the minimum period you find that the
BT Hub or any other equipment is not working properly you may return
it to us and we will replace (or at our option) repair it."

That paragraph does not appear in the Webwise version of the Ts & Cs.
Unless I am missing something, BT is purporting to withdraw a warranty
that it previously provided for the BT Hub.  However concerned or
unconcerned one may be about interception, that is surely a material
amendment.
