Sadly, that isn't true - I know of quite a few places where the Official
Mandated Web Browser is IE and no other web browser is permitted on a
Corporate PC.

And even if it was, it would be irrelevant - last I looked, IE still has
a massive market share (better than 80% of the "hits" to most websites,
as I understand it) so IE is the defacto standard browser, warts and all.
