Only for BA, of course. BMI will continue to use T1 for domestic 
flights.

Yes, and if you've arrived at T1 on one of the longhaul flights (eg BA 
from LAX, Moscow etc), the connections centre is the most obvious place 
to head for, as it's basically attached to the T1 departures lounge.

If they have the time. But the thought of long security queues to 
re-enter landside usually puts people off this. I had the same choice at 
CDG last year and some colleagues decided to go from longhaul to 
shorthaul via landside, while I took the airside bus (which goes round 
the houses a bit). I beat them, just.
