But no-one has suggested that international passengers are being 
photographed.

How many of the people on the "no fly" list are people the authorities 
literally want to stop flying, rather than wanting to stop arriving in 
(eg) the USA?

Agreed.

But they do let you use your own bag. I have never used an "official" 
one, although arguably my current bag is as official as they get, 
because it is literally a USA-sourced one quart freezer bag.
