Years ago there was a survey that has been persistently misquoted ever 
since. About a hundred schoolkids (in the USA) were asked if they had 
ever had a "sexual encounter" online. Apparently a girl being asked her 
bra size by a friend on a chatline counted as highly as being stalked by 
a Pedophile, but you can guess which possible explanation got all the 
attention.
