About 18 months ago the Forensic Science Society tried to run a seminar
on computer forensics and invited me and a number of other toilers in
this arena to speak. They cancelled it because of lack of interest. On
the other hand computer forensics events run by specialist practitioner
groups like F3 and the commercial sector attract very high levels of
interest. What is curious is how little by way of innovation in
computer forensics gas come from the traditional "forensic science"
sector, and that includes the Forensic Science Service.

I am not sure why this is....
