Interesting. Of course the litigious and competitive society we live  
in means that schools must take the path-of-least-offence everywhere,  
in the hope that you don't insult anyone. I'd make a similar comment  
(in about 10 or more years when my potential future kids get to be of  
an age where i get to ask such questions...) about standardized  
testing and curriculum focused on knowledge and learning or passing  
exams...

Yeah. I think that's why the blanket parental-notification-required  
policy came about - which of course was challenged down to the weak  
ass position it's at now. Still, even the thought of a sexually active  
14 year old scares me...
