   Well, the vasco "vacman" software acts as a radius server - so you 
don't need to install it to the same machine you plan to use the 
authentication on (but it does need to be a windows box)

   Only other platform I know of that can use the vasco tokens is the 
nmas component of netware - which is also non-free, although I think you 
can run it on the novell flavour of linux.
