I saw it described as Recorded Delivery, which is of absolutely no use 
as the RD items are not separated from the bulk of the mail and 
transported in a controlled fashion. Special Delivery does exactly this, 
I never use anything else where I want proper traceability and insurance 
with Royal Mail.
