Did the death penalty, the criminalisation of abortion, the
criminalisation of suicide and the criminalisation of homosexuality
all get abolished on their watch? Looks like a good record to me.
I'll take your facts on the actual degrees against my gut feel: I'm
sure you're right.
But I just feel the standards of intellect of the current lot just
aren't very good. Why does Milliband believe that the instant MoD
debacle is about how hard it is to prevent laptops being stolen from
cars? Why does Swiss Des tell us about how good MoD encryption is,
when the data wasn't encrypted? Why can't Peter Hain and Harriet
Harman fill in a form? Are these the marks of clever people?
