Interesting .. I wonder, therefore, why Government and LEA officials
still treat the rest of us as subject vassals, to be the recipients of
diktat and ignored when we protest against such high-handed treatment.
In particular, why are policemen invariably referred to as Police
Officers? Surely such designation perpetuates the the notion of
prefectorial authority over subjects, whereas if we are citizens then
policemen are merely our delegates for the maintenance of law and order?
