The perils of data sharing

sharing.

"A WIDOW received a council demand for her late husband's forwarding 
address, days after the fourth anniversary of his death." [snip]

"The letter, from a revenues and benefits officer, reads: "I note your 
husband left the property some time ago, but we have received 
information linking him to the above address." [snip]

"A council spokeswoman said: "Our external partner, Experian, had some 
technical issues which led to a small number of errors in reviewing 
claims for single person allowances."

So, the council have got into bed with a gang of criminal slimeballs. 
No doubt they are playing these slimeballs a lot of money in their 
desire to extort an odious tax from the poor.
