The Terms and Conditions for the BT Webwise offering attempt to avoid
this risk.

I'm not a lawyer, so I can't comment on how effectively that protects
BT. It certainly opens up another piece of entertainment in the
potential defamation action if a site is blocked as fraudulent (and
the error message says so) but it turns out that it is in fact
legitimate (for some value of legitimate). ``WE will...keep OUR
list'' means that they're pretty much taking responsibility for it.
