Thanks Roland; I thought I'd seen something of the kind.

But it gives no detail of the training, and I would really like to know
whether the analysts are shown collections of images which "passed" and
"failed" in cases decided by juries, and are later tested by seeing how
good they are at distinguishing the one set from the other.  One would
at least know how good they are at tracking the jury standard.

I recall being told they were given practical training on determining
the age of the subject of a photograph, and it's obvious that there are
practical ways of providing images of subjects whose age is known so as
to test such a skill.

I infer from Peter Sommer's silence that if he knows the answer, he may
not be able to disclose it.
