Completely agree with your points, and the name 'oligopolist' is a good one:
that is what M$ are. The only point I was making is that 'the computer
market'
is still very turbulent: within our lifetimes I can envisage M$ being dead,
whilst new young turks take over. Remember DEC? Or Wang? I also suspect that
M$'s arrogance will come back to haunt them.

They are not, however, a 'monopoly'. The fact that the EU has a poor grasp
of
English doesn't change this!
