Does the World think that it is useful to have important points like
this hyperlinked back into the Microsoft FAQ on the topic?
The technology exists to do this (just about), and I've been trying to
make it work recently. I'm very keen to be scrupulously fair in making
these links, therefore I wish to draw your attention to
http://crit.org/http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/pipermail/ukcrypto/2002-September/020415.html
this version of Brian's post. I have back-linked to just one point
raised, a small HTML file. The file is also linked to (a cached copy
of[1]) the MS TCPA FAQ, again at the word level.
It would be somewhat tedious to do this for all posts and points
raised, since the software isn't terribly well developed. However I'm
prepared to do some work on an informative post, provided people think
it is worthwhile.
