The point is that file sharing has moved beyond Napster.  Napster
actually tried to compromise with the record companies and they
responded by strangling it.  It responded badly to the environment (by
trying to make deals with the predators) instead of trying to create
defences.

Whether the other p2p technologies disappear will be decided in the
smoke-filled rooms where lobbyists buy^W advise on legislation.

Can you tell that palladium and son-of-SSSCA scares the hell out of me?
