Demanding traffic data is a rare and serious business, like
carrying a firearm on a raid.
My suggestion is that traffic data requests should be limited
to those agencies whose officers are allowed to carry
firearms.
If a trading standards officer wants to raid a Mafia warehouse
he will ask a local police superintendent for armed assistance
- he should do the same for traffic data
