Any public mailing list deserves to be treated as though it has publicly
available web archives whether it in fact has them or not. Unless the
membership list is actively controlled, and only known individuals are
allowed to sign up, anyone can sign up and create such a web archive
whether the maintainers of the list do so or not.

It is foolish in the extreme to publish anything to a mailing list which
allows the general public to sign-up that you wouldn't want widely
disseminated (via the web or any other means).

I don't see anything at all to worry about ;-)
