I feel you're being a bit unfair on the police here...  Where I used to 
live, there was a burglary.  The police found the fingerprints of 
someone who had just returned from Club Fed.  Soon he was back there, 
doing seven years if memory serves -- by this time he had quite a lot of 
frequent flyer points, if you get my meaning. :-)

Also round here the police have been doing a lot of work trying to get 
yobs and drug dealers off the estate.
