Yes. However, if you have only received one, you are lucky. I receive about
one a week, plus a slack handful of trojans, worms, and spam code to drag my
terminal to a variety of usually nasty sites.

For a complex of reasons, I too am satisfied that I am targeted as a result
of membership of this list. Of course this does not mean that other list
memberships are not similarly targeted - I wouldn't know since this is the
only list to which I subscribe.

P.S. There was an interesting article in the computer press this month, on
the economics of Nigerian scams. It claimed that the scammer's outlay is
approx USD 3750.00 per million distributions and that the average revenue
per mil)likely to be USD 8750.00. This is hardly a fortune but many would
consider it a good living. Moreover, at one per week, it is small enough to
avoid any risk of serious police investigation. As ever, steal small, steal
often, live a peaceful life and still be able to change your Porsche once a
year.
