[A range of hopelessly entrenched, largely uninteresting, and generally
unsubstantiated opinions elided]
The topic of how best to make Acts of Parliament available via the Internet
is an interesting one. I do not believe it is in the remit of this mailing
list to discuss it. I do not believe many people who are members of this
list are well placed to voice opinions on the matter, although obviously
some people who are members of this list certainly think otherwise.
It is not hard to set up mailing lists, perhaps those who feel very
strongly about the living evil that is PDF would care to do so, and then
post joining instructions here for others who wish to continue the debate?
As an additional plea, might I suggest that 'amusing' misspellings of
'Microsoft' are as helpful to polite discourse as they are amusing?
Please direct abuse to me personally,
Thanks,
Jon (regretting that his first post to the list is one on etiquette)
