What I don't understand is why in France a four digit PIN is accepted,
while the keypad entry locks on a Formula 1 hotel room door are six
digit.  OK, I sort of understand: the PIN doesn't just unlock the room
door, it also unlocks the hotel front door out of hours and therefore
the security of that door is weakened to the tune of the number of rooms
in the hotel.  But I'd be interested to know what market research they
did to get people to accept a PIN-only hotel room.
