DTI Study into Security Consultancy

You may recall that last summer, during the passage of the Private Security
Industry Act, there was much discussion as to whether information security
consultants should be regulated. At that time the government stated that the
DTI would review whether any action was needed to improve confidence in that
industry.

The Report commissioned by the DTI on the state of the industry has now been
published on their web site at www.dti.gov.uk/cii/datasecurity/index.shtml
under the heading Information Security Consultants Study. It is available as
