;-)  Yes, they did gain illegal access to secret information, and Germany
should have asked for its extradiction.  Or even better, judge them in
absentia and then demand the british authorities to enforce that court
judgement.  On the other hand, they were at war, so laws might change in
those circumstances. Oh heavens...
