I would agree, but for a different reason, that if it is expected to receive
SMS messages then battery life would be an issue ("Sorry madam, the battery
in your credit card is flat and we can't take the money for your meal. Do
you have cash?") which is unlikely to go down well with visa /mcard. You'd
also need a better 'keypad' lock than mobile phones have so that you didn't
accidentally 'spend' with the card in your purse or wallet!
