Optical Tempest

At his party Bilbo wished to make an ANNOUNCEMENT, afaik the only word in
lotr capitalised for emphasis. I feel this should have had one of more note
and wonder than Bilbo's disappearance in a cloud of smoke before the eyes of
his guests, but it's been kicking around mostly unnoticed for a week now:

Makes Tempest look like a toy. Nice (?) one, Markus. I shall be buying an
