Your story illustrates that banks are arrogant and incompetent, but
then we knew this already. The Home Office, the people in the Joy
Gardiner, Birmingham Six and asylum seeker cases are just as arrogant
and incompetent, but then we knew this already.
However, these arrogant organisations can sometimes be brought to
heel, as we have seen with charges for getting our own money out of a
bank and fines for stowaways. The future is not as bleak as Mr
Blunkett would like it to be.
