Oftel per se is unlikely to get involved with anything unless forced to do
so by the political equivalent of an LMG pointing at them. They are heads
down into the Comms Bill and in most cases the only motivation they can
understand, is whether they will each keep their jobs in the new regime.
The Comms Bill, in turn, is designed for "minimalist" regulation, so
unless you can convince YOUR local MP that this is going to make things
worse rather than better for commerce/industry and consumers alike,
OFCOM won't actually be getting involved either.
We now return you to the less-depressing subject of Crypto ...
