Can you elaborate?  I know of some attacks on Mixmaster, but all the ones
that I can think of right now aren't much of a problem in practice, given
typical threat models.  I just don't see security problems in Mixmaster
bad enough to motivate many people to want to start using some new system
that imposes such high bandwidth costs, though maybe I'm too pessimistic.
