Er, talking about the law - even if you don't like the particular law
(although I was also, as Twister has so well put it, covering the moral
issue).

And privacy (the original point of this thread, as in leaking
intelligence about you to people who neither want or require it,
a sort of  'meta-spam') is fundamental to crypto - which is
definitely on topic as I understand this list!
