Here is some more on that:

"As the EU-Parliament isn't respecting the idea behind its own
directive about the protection of data we expect the members of the
parliaments and governments of the EU-members to act as a necessary
corrective"

Here are banners from the quintessential propaganda department in
different languages. They can be useful or linking...

New SOS Privacy kampaign will be running until July 1. Results will
be submitted to all national parliaments within the EU thereafter.
Many of the Eu member states have not yet introduced new data
retention laws.

The first part of the joint kampaign by stop1984.com, quintessenz and
EPIC attracted over 16.000 signatories in a mere ten days.

We knew we could hardly win against the broad majority of the
socialdemocrat/conservative surveillance mafia that the turned the
MEPs' voting into a farce.

BUT:

IT-industry lobbies in Germany - where a national decision on data
retention is just coming up - jumped on the bandwaggon yesterday. The
first kampaign got wide media coverage there [as well as in AT].
