I should have said that more clearly: I meant courts using contempt of
court to try to compels someone to reveal information held only in
their head is wrong.  I included in that passwords and keys.

Other examples of problems arising from contempt will depend on
whether you personally think it reasonable that the court has
jurisdiction over the issue due to existance of laws.  Victimless
crimes given as an example would make most people disagreeable towards
contempt or other charges applied.
