It looks like copyright law all over the world is getting worse and worse. The
New Zealand government, under threat of trade sanctions from the US, is
planning to introduce legislation which reverses the burden of proof for
suspected copyright infringement. In other words, if you're suspected of
copyright infringement, you're automatically guilty unless you can prove
yourself innocent. I'm not sure what role the courts will play here any more,
I guess they just rubberstamp you on the way through to prison.
