AFAICS, most patent lawsuits ought to be dismissed on the grounds or prior
art but the onus is on the victim to show prior art. The victim is usually
unable to afford the time and lawyers fees to do this and so the insanity
continues. Now it is touching crypto, again. I am not interested in what
arguments can be used to fight a patent, whether it is crypto-related or
not. IMAO those that wield software patents are not interested in the
validity of the patent, only that it is an effective weapon against the
company they threaten.
