Yes. My first thought when I heard Comrade Tony declare that something
topical was the New Great Evil in the world was that the reaction to
the immense destruction and apparent malice would be more lasting, and
damaging to a wider community, than the events themselves. E-mail
encryption would be an easy target, and a flagship for other aspects
of privacy loss. (A pity, because I thought some of his other words
and actions were constructive.)

Comrade George is very close to the problem and I must be sensitive
in criticism; but obviously there are very narrow priorities there
at present, too.
