Oh dear, a Euro army... this would be very bad IMHO, even worse that the
UN - who would make up the force ? I mean, there is never ever going to
any conflict of interest at all is there ? It will be Bosnia all over
again but with more paperwork and political bollocks.
"Yes we will send troops with guns and lots of hurtmeplenty stuff but we
will prevent them from doing anything - you are peacekeepers not
peacemakers.
Yes I know that entire family is about to be tortured and shot a hundred
yards away and I'm sorry you had to watch that 6 year old girl getting raped
but you are supposed to be a token political tool, not soldiers, and
certainly not peacemakers, you are peace_keepers_ etc etc cont. P94"

Having had to remove certain equipments from certain vehicles _before_ a
NATO ally was allowed anywhere near them, I can really see this cosy, trust
inspired relationship working just as well... Would this mean that you
would just ring up and ask for a Greenpeace ship to be blown up, rather than
having to send your own people in ? Or would the frequent flier miles be
more important ?

Oh, and regarding plating farts in gold, if you want a real test let me
know, after a good night on the stout I can clear entire pubs with my mine
;-)

Cheers,
            JJ
