The tScheme Board has now appointed a new Chief Executive Officer, Stephen
Upton. Stephen has a career spanning over 20 years in the data
communications and telecommunications industry with major multinationals
including Racal, ICL and Nortel Networks. He has successfully undertaken a
wide variety of senior management roles in sales, marketing, strategic
customer relationship management and customer support, and as project
director for business development and marketing communications initiatives.

In 1995-6 Stephen also spent a year on secondment as Industrial Adviser to
the DTI Communications and Information Industries Division, where he
established a new membership organisation for UK telecoms software
companies, and contributed to a number of market research projects in the
broader sector.
