Privacy and the use of cell phones.

Judging from the conversations I overhear in the train while commuting,
I'd say
no....

Many surveys report that people think privacy is important to them. The 
problem is that people fail to act accordingly. See e.g. the success of 
loyalty schemes at the supermarket that allow tracking op shopping
habbits.
One can only conclude that any technique to protect the privacy of
people
should be completely transparent to them: it should not make thinkgs
more
difficult for them, and should not require any extra actions on their
part.
