"Anonymising" genetic data is going to be an absolute nightmare for medical
privacy... With Jack Straw's wet dream of trebling the size of the
national DNA database going full speed ahead, how can a medical record that
contains any kind of DNA sample ever be considered properly deidentified?
Will we have to wait 20+ years until medical researchers understand the genome
enough to be able to pull out the specific sequences needed and junk the rest
in order to try and reduce identification?
