A reason not to use browsers for e-mail - e-mail wiretapping (fwd)

This seems to be a reason to avoid Outlook, Outlook Express, and Netscape 6
email readers or turn their javascript abilities off rather than to avoid
browser based email.

Or have I missed something?

Would be interested in views on the applicability/security of organisations
(NHS in particular) providing browser/SSL based 'mail' interfaces to allow
the secure deposit of mail.
