No, Gruyere. ISTR that the Swiss were up in arms last year about a new US
regulation regarding the size and quantity of holes in a Gruyere to
permitted to be imported in the US. Whether or not this US initiative was
inspired by domestic security concerns I am not in a position to say.

OTOH German Emmental is quite often seen hole-less  - as befits a
fast-process product of indifferent to poor quality. Emmental is the basis
for a large range of processed cheeses.
